A neglected cottage is given character and warmth with the introduction of wood panelling and a palette of grounded, earthy tones.

This cottage forms part of a wider renovation project, with the main house due for completion next year. The cottage itself has undergone a full renovation, including a complete rewire, new plumbing system and full interior overhaul.

Our brief was to create a cosy Cotswold cottage feel, while ensuring the house still complemented the more formal country house style of the main property. We introduced extensive panelling to add character and chose a rich, earthy colour palette to bring warmth and depth to the space.
